What You Should Expect From Us

You may stop at McElroy’s Food Market to go through your menu (please call ahead of time so we can prepare for your visit).  Gary McElroy will answer any questions that you may have and a catering sheet can be filled out. When you leave that day, we can have your menu planned out.

We will be contacting you the Monday prior to your event to finalize everything.  At this point, any questions or small changes you can be addressed.

The day of the event you can expect us to arrive an hour and a half ahead of time to set up.

Frozen Punch Rings will be included with the rental of the Punch Fountain.

We suggest that the Boneless Pork Loin, Ham, Prime Rib or Baron Beef be carved in the buffet line.

All meals served buffet style.  The head table may be served by catering personnel and host/hostess at no extra charge.  There is a $1.00/person charge for serving family tables.

We will clear guest tables and clean kitchen as much as possible.  We will check to see if anything else is needed from you before we leave.

Leftovers will be put in foil pans or buckets and refrigerated.  Left over meat and buns may be made into sandwiches and put on trays.  We will notify the host and hostess.  In the Independence and Manchester areas left overs are typically taken back to the store and put in containers to pick up the next day.

What We Expect of You

The day of the event we expect at least two buffet tables covered, and skirted if possible.  Larger weddings may need four buffet tables in  order to help get yours guests though the line in a timely fashion.  Separate tables will be needed for beverages and cake.  Please ensure that cake and beverage tables are after the flow of the buffet tables.  Any items you want left at reception are asked to be returned in a timely fashion.  We would like you to have your own cake cutter, we can provide one or two cake cutters at an hourly charge of $15.00.  A deposit of $100.00 plus $7.00 tax totaling to an amount of $107.00 is expected at the time of booking.  The bill will be emailed to you the week prior to the event.  A final bill will be provided to you by the caterers at the event, payment in full must be made within seven days.  Gratuity is not included, but appreciated.

You can contact us any time a month or more before your event to discuss RSVP numbers.  There is still time to make some changes to your menu if you would like to do so.
